Η ταινία Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, για την οποία σας αναφέραμε την άποψη μας, μας έδωσε και τον John Krasinski ως Mr. Fantastic/ Reed Richards των Fantastic Four, σε μια χαρακτηριστική σκηνή, η οποία όμως δεν αντιμετωπίστηκε με απόλυτο ενθουσιασμό.
Σύμφωνα με τον Sam Raimi ο συγκεκριμένος ρόλος ήταν καθαρά απόφαση του Kevin Feige, για να ικανοποιήσει τους fans (κοινώς fan service) που θεωρούσαν ότι είναι ο τέλειος Reed Richards, οπότε το έκανε πραγματικότητα. Ωστόσο, δεν είχε την απήχηση που θα περίμεναν οι συντελεστές, τουλάχιστον σύμφωνα και με τα παρακάτω tweets.

Ο Craig είχε συμφωνήσει κανονικά να παίξει αλλά σύμφωνα με τον insider και δημοσιογράφο του Deadline, Justin Kroll, ήταν η πρώτη επιλογή της Marvel για τον ρόλο του Reed Richards (που υποδύθηκε ο John Krasinski), ωστόσο έκανε πίσω λόγω της ανό …
